Our Square Twisted Snaffle Loose Ring is popular due to the curved mouthpiece which distributes pressure more evenly over tongue and bars. With the offset centre link it will reduce nutcracker action and pressure points on the tongue.

The Square Twist creates more pressure points on the bars and as a result, makes it a stronger bit.

The Loose Ring allows for immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure which will reset the bit in the horses’ mouth.

Additionally, all our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:

• oxidises easily
• encourages salivation
• helps bit acceptance
• is warm and sweet

Please note the blue will fade with use.
